Camp under “Sarkar Tuhade Dwar” held in Bhattian

Ludhiana, June 25, 2024: Expressing immense satisfaction about the prompt delivery of pension, senior citizen, AB-Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojna cards, besides other services , during the Sarkar Tuhade Dwar camp in Bhattian, the beneficiaries, including Sohan Lal, Hardeep Singh, Suresh Kumar Sharma, Raj Rani, and Karan Sharma, expressed their gratitude to the Punjab government for bringing citizen services directly to them.
Karan Sharma from Bhattian Colony, who arrived at the camp with his mother Mamta to apply for a widow pension card, thanked the Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab government's initiative and mentioned that his mother received the sanction letter for the pension within half an hour.
Suresh Kumar Sharma from local Ajit Nagar also received the sanction letter for an old-aged pension at the camp. He extended his thanks to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and praised the district administration for organizing the camp, as he had been unable to visit the local office due to illness.
Raj Rani, a widow, also obtained the widow pension sanction letter on the spot and commended the Sarkar Tuhade Dwar campaign. Hardeep Singh, who received AB-Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojna within an hour at the camp, also expressed appreciation for the initiative.
The district administration organized the camp in Bhattian village of the district today, which was inaugurated by MLA Jiwan Singh Sangowal and Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney. ADC Anmol Singh Dhaliwal, SDM Deepak Bhatia and others were also present in the camp.
Various senior officials from departments such as Revenue, Sewa Kendras, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, Social Security and Development of Women and Children, Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Health, Water Supply and Sanitation, Rural Development and Panchayats, Police, and others provided services to the people.
MLA Jiwan Singh Sangowal and Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney also interacted with the beneficiaries and instructed the officials to ensure the prompt resolution of any issues raised by the people.
MLA Jiwan Singh Sangowal mentioned that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann-led state government had been conducting special Suvidha camps at different locations to ensure that the benefits of the government's services and schemes reach the masses.
DC Sakshi Sawhney also told that more camps would be held across the district as part of the Sarkar Tuhade Dwar campaign to provide the benefits of government services directly to the people. She emphasized that the district administration is fully committed to providing citizen services in a smooth, hassle-free, and transparent manner and stated that the purpose of the camps was to address the public's issues at their doorsteps and resolve them promptly. She stressed that the participation of people in the governance process would make the services more accountable and transparent. She also emphasized the importance of ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of government social welfare schemes and directed that there should be 100% utilization of all government welfare schemes.
