Camp under “Sarkar Tuhade Dwar” held in Machhiwara
Under "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" program by the Punjab Government, the district administration on Friday organized a camp in Haidon Bet village under Machhiwara.
Ludhiana, August 2, 2024: Under "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" program by the Punjab Government, the district administration on Friday organized a camp in Haidon Bet village under Machhiwara.
During the camp, many individuals, including Ajmer Kaur (82), Darshan Kaur (61), Jeeto (56), Swaran Kaur (53) and Darshan Singh (71) of Haidon Bet received prompt approval for old-age pension, widow pension and senior citizen card. They expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the district administration for making the camp accessible to them as they were unable to visit the local office.
The camp was inaugurated by MLA Jagtar Singh Dyalpura. SDM Rajneesh Sharma and officials from other departments were also present. The desks set up by different departments provided services to the people. MLA Dyalpura interacted with the beneficiaries and handed over sanction letters.
MLA emphasized the efforts of the Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab government in conducting special camps to ensure that the benefits of government services and schemes reach the masses. He stressed the importance of making sure all eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of government social welfare schemes and directed 100% utilization of all government welfare schemes in the camps. He also mentioned that more camps will be held across the district as part of the "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" campaign to provide government services directly to the people.
