Camp under “Sarkar Tuhade Dwar” held in Rampur

During a camp held in Rampur village near Doraha, various applications such as senior citizen cards, old-age pensions, widow pensions, power load enhancements and others were quickly approved by officials.

Ludhiana, July 2, 2024: The Punjab Government's "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" program, which aims to provide services directly to the people, is continue to receive positive response from the public. During a camp held in Rampur village near Doraha, various applications such as senior citizen cards, old-age pensions, widow pensions, power load enhancements and others were quickly approved by officials.
Hartej Singh, a resident of Rampur, applied for power load enhancement and expressed gratitude for the prompt approval by PSPCL officials at the camp. Parminder Kaur and Sadhu Singh also received approval for old-age pensions and thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the district administration for organizing the camp, making it accessible for them due to their inability to visit the local office.
Similarly, Paramjeet Kaur, a widow, obtained immediate approval for a widow pension and appreciated the "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" campaign. Amolak Singh also received a Senior Citizen Card within an hour at the camp and praised the initiative.
The camp in Rampur village was inaugurated by MLA Manwinder Singh Giaspura and Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney. ADC Anmol Singh Dhaliwal, SDM Charanjeet Singh and others were also present in the camp.
Various senior officials from different departments provided services to the people, and MLA Giaspura and DC Sakshi Sawhney interacted with beneficiaries and handed over sanction letters.
MLA Giaspura highlighted the Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab government's efforts in conducting special camps to ensure that the benefits of government services and schemes reach the masses. He underlined the importance of ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of government social welfare schemes and directed 100% utilization of all government welfare schemes in the camps.
DC Sakshi Sawhney mentioned that more camps would be held across the district as part of the "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" campaign to provide government services directly to the people. She emphasized the district's commitment to providing citizen services in a smooth, hassle-free, and transparent manner and stressed that public participation in the governance process would make the services more accountable and transparent.
