The district administration organized a camp in Rattanheri village, Khanna sub-division of Ludhiana under the "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" program of the Punjab Government on Tuesday.

Ludhiana, August 6, 2024: The district administration organized a camp in Rattanheri village, Khanna sub-division of Ludhiana under the "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" program of the Punjab Government on Tuesday. 

During the camp, many individuals including Kuljeet Kaur (49), Pardeep Kaur (35) of Khanna, Kuldeep Kaur (59) of Rasulra village, Karnail Singh (66), Kuldeep Singh (66), Pavittar Singh (69), and Ram Lal (67) of Rattanheri village received prompt approval for old-age pension and widow pension. Similarly, Ram Lal (67), Karnail Singh (65), Pavinder Singh (69), and Kuldeep (66) got approval for their senior citizen cards during the camp. They expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the district administration for making the camp accessible to them as they were unable to visit the local office. 

The camp was inaugurated by ADC (D) Anmol Singh Dhaliwal and SDM Dr. Baljinder Singh Dhillon. 

Officials from other departments were also present. The desks set up by different departments provided services to the people. ADC Dhaliwal and SDM interacted with the beneficiaries and handed over sanction letters of various pension schemes. District Social Security Officer Varinder Singh Tiwana was also present. 

ADC Dhaliwal mentioned that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab government has been conducting special camps to ensure that the benefits of government services and schemes reach the masses. He stressed the importance of ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of government social welfare schemes and directed 100% utilization of all government welfare schemes in the camps. He also mentioned that more camps will be held across the district as part of the "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" campaign to provide government services directly to the people. Additionally, saplings were also planted on the side-lines of the camp by the officials led by ADC (D).
