Camps on intensive awareness programme being organised to aware public from cyber frauds: Lead Bank Manager
Today a meeting was held in the office of Lead bank Ludhiana regarding organizing of intensive awareness programme in villages & urban areas from 1st Nov 2022 to 30th Nov 2022 as per directions received from RBI and SLBC Punjab.
Ludhiana, October 31, 2022: Today a meeting was held in the office of Lead bank Ludhiana regarding organizing of intensive awareness programme in villages & urban areas from 1st Nov 2022 to 30th Nov 2022 as per directions received from RBI and SLBC Punjab.
LDM Sh. Sanjay Kumar Gupta presided over the meeting. District coordinators of all banks attended the meeting. In this regard LDM stated that 5 town hall meetings will be organized at district head Quarters in Ludhiana in the month of Nov 2022. The 1st town hall meeting will be held at Punjab trade centre on 1.11.2022 at 11.30 am.
He also informed that the awareness camps will also be organized by banks in 359 villages allocated to different bank branches in the month of Nov 2022.
The purpose of such camps and town hall meetings is to create awareness amongst general public regarding financial customer rights, Internal Grievances redress as well as the alternate Grievances redress mechanism of RBI and also to create awareness regarding safe banking practice and secure digital transactions so as to protect the public from the rising incidents of fraudulent digital transactions.
LDM requested the general public to attend such camps organized by banks in villages and town hall meetings.
