Canadian International School wins Inter School Basketball Championship
Canadian International School (CIS) Girl’s and Boy’s teams won the Bangalore Activities and Athletics School Conference (BAASC) Middle School Basketball Championships held recently at Stonehill International School. Both teams won decisive victories with scores of 28-15 (Boy’s) and 22-10 (Girl’s) respectively. The CIS Middle School Boys Basketball Team went undefeated the entire season.

Bangalore, October 19, 2023: Canadian International School (CIS) Girl’s and Boy’s teams won the Bangalore Activities and Athletics School Conference (BAASC) Middle School Basketball Championships held recently at Stonehill International School. Both teams won decisive victories with scores of 28-15 (Boy’s) and 22-10 (Girl’s) respectively. The CIS Middle School Boys Basketball Team went undefeated the entire season.
At the same time, the BAASC High School Football Championship tournament was held at Canadian International School, Bangalore. The Boy’s Finals was won by Trio World School defeating Stonehill International School by a score of 3-1 while Legacy School won the competition for the Girl’s Finals defeating Stonehill International School by a score of 3-0. In addition to student athletes and their coaches, nearly 250 spectators attended the event to watch the competitions. BAASC, founded in 2019 by CIS, consists of 6 area schools and follows a seasonal schedule of sports and activities throughout the academic year.
