Jalandhar, February 4, 2015: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya’s Department of Student Welfare has taken the initiative of observing cancer awareness week.  The activities started with an awareness camp organised in collaboration with Patel Hospital.

Today, being the World Cancer Day is the right day for starting the cancer awareness campaign.  Pink ribbons which are symbolic of this day were distributed to the students and the faculty.  Interactive session was also organised for the students in which they were provided the information which was of great use to them.  Relevant literature was also distributed to the students.
