Chandigarh, January 25, 2025: The City Beautiful witnessed an unprecedented cultural milestone as Live Your City launched its acclaimed Candlelight series at the Hyatt Centric Sector 17 Chandigarh. The inaugural ‘Queen vs ABBA’ and ‘Best Movie Soundtracks’ performances drew an enthusiastic full house, marking a triumphant entry into Punjab's capital region.

The elegant ballroom at Hyatt Centric transformed into an intimate concert setting, where hundreds of candles created an enchanting atmosphere. The evening featured virtuoso pianist Joshua Peter, whose masterful interpretations captivated the audience, earning multiple standing ovations throughout the performance.

Deepa Bajaj, Country Manager of Live Your City India, said, "Chandigarh's response has exceeded our expectations, demonstrating the city's remarkable appreciation for innovative cultural experiences. The city's architectural heritage and artistic spirit align perfectly with our vision. As we expand across Punjab, we're crafting experiences celebrating the region's rich musical legacy while introducing fresh perspectives on classical performance. The debut success has paved the way for an ambitious programming calendar, including ‘Best Movie Soundtracks’ and tributes to a special showcase of Punjabi Hits - a first-of-its-kind adaptation of regional favourites into classical arrangements. These performances will continue at the prestigious Hyatt Centric.

This expansion into Chandigarh adds another jewel to Candlelight Concerts' growing presence in India, joining metropolitan hubs like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Pune.
