Capt Amarinder has lost majority: Chugh
Says Governor should summon special Assembly session
Chandigarh: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today requested the Punjab Governor to call an urgent Assembly session for chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh to prove his majority.
In a statement he said in view of the open revolt by the Congress MLAs against the chief Minister the Congress was vertically divided.
The Congress MLAs are openly giving statements against the chief Minister while horse trading is going on in Delhi.
Chugh said the chief Minister has lost confidence of the House and his party MLAs so an urgent session of the Assembly must be called.
