CAPT AMARINDER SINGH’S LUDHIANA VISIT TO BOOST DEVELOPMENT OF CITY: RAVNEET SINGH BITTU
Ludhiana, August 12, 2018: Lok Sabha member Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu today said that Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh’s visit to the city on August 14 & 15, 2018 would boost development of the city and the city residents as well as the Congress workers are ecstatic about this visit. While chairing a meeting in this regard at Bachat Bhawan, here today, Mr Bittu said that Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh would unfurl the national flag during the state-level function at Guru Nanak Bhawan, here on August 15, 2018. Besides this, he would also launch “Buddy Programme” and the next phase of “Farm Loan Waiver Scheme”. The CM would also launch a scheme for giving subsidy to farmers for purchasing farm machinery. Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu further stated that Capt Amarinder Singh would reach the city on August 14, 2018 and would attend a function to honour four SDM’s and four DSP’s of the state who have done exceptionally well in DAPO programme. Later, he would inaugurate smart school developed at Government Senior Secondary Model School in PAU. After this function, he would attend a meeting with city industrialists and other prominent personalities at Hotel Park Plaza. Cabinet Minister Mr Bharat Bhushan Ashu urged party workers and office bearers to work hard to make this visit of the Chief Minister successful. MLA’s Mr Sanjay Talwar, Mr Kuldeep Singh Vaid, Mr Surinder Dawar, Mayor Mr Balkar Singh Sandhu, Senior Deputy Mayor Mr Sham Sunder Malhotra, Deputy Mayor Mrs Sarabjit Kaur, District Congress Committee presidents Mr Gurdev Singh Lauren and Mr Gurpreet Singh Gogi, councillors and several others.
