Parents' being counselled about why its is important to choose the right subjects for children, at Dikshant International School, Zirakpur.

Zirakpur, May 26, 2016: A Four- days Career Counselling programme concluded at Dikshant International School, for students of grade IX to XII. Experts from the renowned Institute for Career Studies (ICS), Lucknow conducted the counselling. Ms. Kavita Das, Additional Director, ICS and MS Nupur Wali, two senior career counselors at ICS were here to guide students to make the right choice of subject/stream at +1 and graduation levels.
Over four days a seminar on career counselling spectrum, individual profiling, guidance based on multiple intelligence, aptitude tests and parent’s seminar were held.
“We at Dikshant always have always endevoured to provide education which is practical oriented & aims at developing happy children. At crucial junctures like when the child enters 10+1 or passes out of school to pursue graduation, counsellings like these are organized, so that students choose subjects that they like & not ones that are thrust upon them due to peer & parental pressure.” Said Mitul Dikshit, Chairman, Dikshant Group of Schools.
