Career Counselling by IDIPIA Project Team

Ludhiana, February 25, 2015: A career counselling session was organised by IDIPIA Project team for students of Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana. More than 400 students from the stream of Laws and Management Studies of PURC Ludhiana attended the session. Dr.Harpreet Dua, Fellow Panjab University, Chandigarh; Dr.Ravi Inder Singh, Coordinator MBA; Dr.Arti Puri, Coordinator, LLB and Dr.Shiv Kumar Dogra, Coordinator BALLB were also present among other faculty members from management and laws.

Dr.Tripat Deep Singh Dua, Project Director informed the students while discussing about his portal I Dream I Plan I Achieve (IDIPIA) that this portal is going to be very helpful to the students of various stream for opting a relevant career option. Students enrolling with this portal would get information regarding various courses, career opportunities, scholarships and other relevant information related to education in India and abroad, based on his/her current qualifications, experience and pre-dispositions. He further stated that this portal is going to be helpful not only for the students but also for professionals, researchers, teachers and educational institutes.

The session was quite informative and carried different videos and documentaries etc. for enhancement of knowledge of the students and followed by an intensive question answer session. The session came to an end with humble vote of thanks by Dr. Ravi Inder Singh, Coordinator, University Business School, PURC, Ludhiana.
