Career Counselling Session for students at RGC

Ludhiana, October 7, 2022: The PG department of commerce of Ramgarhia Girls College, Miller Ganj, Ludhiana organised a guest lecture for PG and UG students. The key resource person for the occasion was Dr Nidhi Singhi, a career counsellor from district bureau of employment and enterprises Ludhiana. She delivered a lecture that covered various career and employment opportunities after graduation and post graduation. She enlightened the students about various strategies to crack government exams, focus was given on Banking(IBPS, PO, SO) and clerical exams of group A, B and C. She gave a detailed information related to various upcoming placement camps. She discussed in detail about skill based courses organised by Punjab skill development mission. She shared the procedure of registration on employment portal of Government and various social media links for the students so that they can avail the opportunities.
Ranjodh Singh, President Ramgarhia Educational Council and Off. Principal Dr. Rajeshwar Pal Kaur emphasized the importance of such events to increase the exposure of students and to enhance their skills and confidence. Head Of Commerce Department, Dr. Ajit Kaur thanked the resource person for providing the detailed information regarding their future prospects and also encouraging them to become financially secure.
