CATC Camp at HMV
CATC - 27 camp has entered in the seventh day at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, January 3, 2024: CATC - 27 camp has entered in the seventh day at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar. 2 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC Jalandhar has organized it in the campus of the institution under the able guidance of Commanding Officer Col. M.S, Sachdev and Maj Amanpreet Kaur, Adm Officer 2PB (G) BN NCC.
The day started with PT followed by arms Drill. Then lecture on camouflage and concealment was given by Subedar Davinder Pal Singh assisted by Hav Bablu Ram. Later Nayak Vishal Singh and Nayak Yadav practically demonstrated camouflage to cadets. Lecture on conduct of A & B cert exams on a new pattern of OMR Sheet has been explained by the GCI Anju Sharma to the cadets.
A talk on “Current Health Care issues faced by Girls and Preventive Measures” was delivered by Dr. Anamica Lall, obstetrician & Gynecologist of Civil Hospital, Jalandhar. She covered the main cancers prevailing in females and how we can prevent from it. She also covered the causes of PCOD, Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer. In the evening competition on Obstacle and Tent Pitching has been organized.
Hav Ratan Singh is imparting the duties of BHM during the camp and he is coordinating the camp very well. Hav Jasbir Singh is over all incharge of cadet's training and he is conducting firing competitions from 1100 to 1600h. Cadets are doing very well under his directions.
GCI Parvati along with Hav Aman and Hav Joginder are conducting obstacle course training. Nb/ Sub Shaitana Ram Bishnoi and Hav Gurdeep Singh are conducting tent pitching competitions.
At the close of the day, Lt Sonia Mahindru, ANO Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya visited the girls line area and looked after their well being.
