CBSE cluster XVIII Basketball Tournament 2019-20 kicks off at CT Public School

Jalandhar, October 10, 2019: The most awaited CBSE Cluster Basket Ball Tournament kicked off at CT Public School today. The event is organised to enhance the spirit of sportsman ship amongst the students. The opening ceremony was embellished by the presence of eminent Chief Guest of the day, Parveen Kumar, CBSE Official, along with Manbir Singh, Managing Director of the school, Principal Daljeet Rana, Vice Principal Sukhdeep Kaur and coaches of participating schools who graced the event with their presence. A total of 170 teams across North India are participating in this mega event, including boys and girls. The opening matches took place amogst the girls teams and included teams like Bright Land School, Amritsar,U-17 verses MGN School, Jalandhar; Om Parkash Bansal Model School, Fatehgarh verses West Point School ,Faridkot; Jodhamal Public SchoolU-19,Jammu verses Sant Sarwan Dass SchoolU-19, Phagwara; Tagore International SchoolU-17, Jalandhar verses Angel Public U-17, Gurdaspur etc. Daljeet Rana, Principal, CT Public School expressed his best wishes to the participants and requested all of them to take the event with sportsman spirit and enjoy the event during their stay at CT Public School. Manbir Singh, Managing Director wished all teams a good luck for the tournament.
