Chandigarh College of Pharmacy (CCP), CGC Landran organised a week long summer course in association with National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali.
Chandigarh College of Pharmacy (CCP), CGC Landran organised a week long summer course in association with National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali. The course was titled ‘Advances in Sophisticated Analytical Techniques’. The course was attended by more than 300 participants from across the country.
Aimed at providing them with in-depth understanding of the subject and bringing them up to date with the latest developments in the field, the course was tailored in a manner which provided the participants with hands-on-training and better theoretical understanding of concepts. Eminent academicians Prof. Dr. Sanjay Jachak and Prof. Dr. Inder Pal Singh from, Department of Natural Products, NIPER were the guiding mentors for this course. Through insightful presentations and interactive discussions during the sessions, Dr. Jachak and Dr. Singh, delivered lectures on LC-MS, HPTLC and NMR, GC-MS, respectively. The participants also underwent hands-on training sessions conducted exclusively at the Central Instrumentation Laboratory, NIPER as well as on HPTLC & GC-MS at the Department of Natural Products, NIPER-Mohali.
The course was interspersed with insightful interactive doubt clearing sessions and guidance on bettering the practical aspect of the training.
