Chandigarh, February 12, 2024: The Department of Community Education and Disability Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh will organise one day workshop on the Topic:“Hands on training of Tools for Children with Special Needs” on February 13.
The Resource Person is Dr.Chhaya Sambharya Prasad, Clinical Director, ASHA CAIDD, Developmental & Behavioural pediatrician, Adolescent Health Expert and Child Rights Expert. Hands on for the different tools: Diagnostics Test for Learning Disabilities, Reading Disabilities, NIMHANS Battery and Intelligence Test will be conducted by the Resource Person.
The students pursuing B.Ed Special Education (Leaning Disability) need to learn about the tools to screen and assess the characteristics of Learning Disability in school going children and it will help to develop the educational plan for them, said Dr. Md. Saifur Rahman, Chairperson of the Department.
