Chandigarh, February 12, 2016: This Valentine’s Day, Ola, India’s most popular mobile app for transportation is offers a special ride, a lavish dinner at a five star hotel and more for its customers in Chandigarh. A special VDAY category is set to go live on the Ola app on February 14, 2016 between 6 pm to 8 pm. Customers who wish to go on this special date with their partner can make a request, just like they would book a cab. Once the request goes through, an Ola cab will arrive at the customer's location and take them for a romantic dinner date at Hotel Park Plaza, Chandigarh. Ola launched its services in Chandigarh about 2 years ago and today has more than 3000 cabs registered on the platform. Upon booking, customers in Chandigarh can get an Ola in an ETA of under 6 minutes.
For this customer engagement initiative, there will be a number of specially decorated Ola cabs in Chandigarh and will serve one couple per cab. The special cab will bring a bouquet of red roses, a greeting card and couple passes for a dinner date as a gift and chauffeur the customer to their destination. The customers will not have to pay anything for this unique experience.

The Company has in the past brought exciting experiences around festivals like Diwali and Onam, sporting events and entertainment properties like Sunburn, allowing users to participate straight from the Ola app.
