It was a labor of love, with hurdles of course - be it look transformation or research - but victory at the end, nonetheless. As I began studying him, apart from losing tremendous weight to look like him, I realized how little I knew beyond the fact that he went to Kala Pani.  I also discovered that many aspects of his life and contributions are neither covered in school curriculums nor discussed publicly. This film sheds light on the legacy of Veer Savarkar, exploring his contributions to India's freedom struggle. After the successful run in theatres, I'm excited for Zee Cinema audiences to witness this powerful narrative and engage with a story that holds significant historical importance on the auspicious day of Independence Day.”
