Celebration of Independence Day in DIPS

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in all the educational institutions of DIPS chain. First a special assembly was conducted in which the principals, teachers and students performed the flag hoisting ceremony. This was followed by various activities like potter making, street play, speech, poetry recital etc. on the theme Nation First, Always First for the students.

Jalandhar, August 14, 2023: Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in all the educational institutions of DIPS chain. First a special assembly was conducted in which the principals, teachers and students performed the flag hoisting ceremony. This was followed by various activities like potter making, street play, speech, poetry recital etc. on the theme Nation First, Always First for the students.

Through a street play, the students told that The British rule over India started in 1858, which lasted for almost 200 years. This day is a very important day for us as the principals addressed everyone. On this day, the Prime Minister of our country, while addressing all the countrymen by hoisting the flag on the Red Fort, gives information about the plan made by the government for the best future of the country.

MD Tarwinder Singh said that we have got this freedom with great difficulty, so we should always try for the security, progress and prosperity of the country. 

CEO Monica Mandotra said that we should be proud to be an Indian and be happy that we were born in the land of a free India. Our country is now developing very fast in terms of technology, education, sports and economically, so being the young generation of the country, it is your duty to contribute fully in the development of your country.
