Ludhiana: The “World Intellectual Property Day” was celebrated at ICAR – CIPHET Ludhiana in collaboration with ICAR-IIMR Ludhiana with the theme of Women and IP : Accelerating Innovation and Creativity on 26th April, 2023 in hybrid mode.
This event was celebrated through Institute Management Unit (ITMU) and Agri Business Incubation Centre (ABIC) by conducting awareness program on Intellectual Property Rights. Dr. Sandeep Mann, I/c Director & PC AICRP on PEASEM greeted the guest speaker Dr. Usha Nara, Plant Breeder and Registered Patent Agent along with I/c Director Dr. A.K. Singh.
Dr. Renu Balakrishnan Scientist & Incharge ITMU welcome all the participants for World Intellectual Property Day celebration.
The program was celebrated with priority to women scientist & women IP experts for sharing their knowledge and experience as per the theme of World IP Day-2023.
Dr. Usha Nara, Plant Breeder & Patent Agent, TMIPRC PAU Ludhiana delivered lecture on Overview of Intellectual Property Rights and the practical applications in the field followed by an interactive session with the participants.
At last appreciation given to all the women scientist and technologist working in Institute for their role in the research field.
