Central placement cell conducted placement drive for students of Statistics, Economics and Mathematics department
Central Placement Cell, Panjab University conducted a Placement Drive of Mercer Company for the students of Department of Mathematics, Statistics, Economics and Evening studies today in Department of Statistics. This drive was organized for the post of Actuarial Analyst.
Chandigarh, July 15, 2022: Central Placement Cell, Panjab University conducted a Placement Drive of Mercer Company for the students of Department of Mathematics, Statistics, Economics and Evening studies today in Department of Statistics. This drive was organized for the post of Actuarial Analyst.
In the placement drive 90 students participated in the written test. 35 students cleared the test & were selected for the interview. Vikram Dhingra ( DGM), Jyoti Arora (Senior Analyst), Vikas Khurana, Neha Bansal (Senior Associates) and Ankit (HR, Head) from Mercer Company visited the campus for the placement drive.
Prof. Meena Sharma welcomed the officials of the company and briefed the students about the company. She shared with the students that Mercer is a well renowned management consulting company with the aim of delivering technology-driven solutions that help organizations meet the health, wealth and career needs of a changing workforce. The company is spread across India with offices in Bangalore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune.

Central Placement Cell also conducted the Placement Drive of DNA Growth, Mohali for the students of UIAMS, Department of Economics and Evening Studies. DNA Growth is a leading Financial Modeling & Financial Advisory Consulting firm specializing in financial modeling and valuations. 28 students participated in the Drive. 3 students were selected for the post of Financial Analyst after the final interview.
