Chandigarh October 24, 2024: Centre for Human Rights and Duties, Panjab University (PU) today organised a seminar with Teach for India Fellow Program, which is an All India empowering movement to revolutionize education in India.
 
As part of their on-going pre-placement drive for session 2025-26 the TFI Coordinating Fellows, Ms. Shradha D. and Ms. Anushka Sharma, conducted sessions around diverse academic departments on Panjab University campus in Chandigarh. Teach for India as an All India organization looks for youngsters who have completed their graduation/post-graduation to apply and serve on a paid 2 year fellowship program in select 8 Indian metropolitan cities which has a stringent acceptance intake process.
 
The Chairperson of the Centre Prof. Namita Gupta stated that the session catered to the outgoing Masters batch at the Centre within the context of career education and opportunities post completion of their academic degree.
 
Dr. Kanika Sharma, Faculty in the Centre informed the students that the Teach For India Fellowship imparts invaluable teaching and leadership skills wherein, selected students stand to join a vast network of like-minded educators and mentors by becoming anintegral part of an Alumni network of influential change agents and advocates for educational equity.
