Chandigarh, September 13, 2023: Centre for Public Health conducted a workshop on Empowering Health Awareness Through "Decoding Food Labels & Road safety, Harmful effects of Drinking and Smoking" held on 12th September, at Neerja Bhanot Hall, Girls Hostel No. 10, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Prabhleen Kaur, a dedicated student from the Centre for Public Health, led the audience on an enlightening journey through the complexities of understanding food labels, while esteemed guest speaker Dr. Savita Prashar, Harshvardhan College of Dental Science, Panjab University, shared her expertise in the field of Public Health.
The event was a resounding success, drawing participants not only from the hostels but also from across the university, under the skilful guidance of Coordinator Dr. Komal Sehgal and Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, with co-guidance from Warden Dr. Varinder Kaur.
