Centre for Public Health, Panjab University conducted a seminar on “Water: Our Life Line” held on the occasion of World Water Day, “Leveraging Water for Peace”, on March 22, 2024, under the guidance of Dr. Komal Sehgal, Coordinator, Centre for Public Health and Dr. Manoj Kumar, Assistant Professor, Centre for Public Health.
Chandigarh, March 22, 2024: Centre for Public Health, Panjab University conducted a seminar on “Water: Our Life Line” held on the occasion of World Water Day, “Leveraging Water for Peace”, on March 22, 2024, under the guidance of Dr. Komal Sehgal, Coordinator, Centre for Public Health and Dr. Manoj Kumar, Assistant Professor, Centre for Public Health.
The initial lecture was delivered by was delivered by Retd. Prof. Dr Arun Deep Ahluwalia (Earth Scientist) emphasising the significance and dominant momentousness of water. The participants focused on “Samriddhi Salilam Jeevanam”.
Thereafter, Amandeep Singh (Water Activist) enlightened the participants about the importance of saving water and he gave the tips in regard to saving the water for indoor and outdoor use of water.
Gurdev Hundal spoke about the significance of water purification. To conclude the session a pledge was taken to conserve the drinking water and not to waste water.
Around 40 participants attended the seminar, including the administrative staff, in
Seminar Hall, Centre of Public Health, Panjab University.
