Chandigarh, April 23, 2025: The Centre for Social Work, Panjab University, Chandigarh today organised a vibrant Sports Meet & Sale cum Exhibition.
The event showcased hand-made products crafted by underprivileged women artisans, promoting their skills and entrepreneurial spirit while fostering social inclusion and empowerment. The exhibition, organised under the dynamic leadership of Chairperson Prof. Monica Munjial Singh and Faculty Dr. Gaurav Gaur, drew attention to sustainable livelihoods and celebrated the creativity of these artisans.
Alongside the exhibition, an energetic Sports Meet was also organised, engaging MSW students of First and Second Year as well as Research Scholars in fun-filled activities such as Tug of War, Picking up a Handkerchief, Three-Legged Race, Lemon Spoon Race, and a spirited Cricket Match. The event aimed to promote teamwork, wellness, and camaraderie among the students.
