Chandigarh, May 2, 2022: Centre for Social Work, Panjab University marked International Labour Day today. All the workers from University Institute of Emerging Area in Social Sciences (UIEASS) were invited as guest for the event. Students from first and second year presented poems and songs on International Labour Day.
The event started at 11:00 am with a formal introduction by Gurider and Chinglensana. Arpna Raatu,Research Scholar shared the importance of International labour day. Shiv shared the historical background of International labour day.Chairperson Dr. Gaurav Gaur and Prof Monica M. Singh facilitated all the presented worker.Dr. Gaurav Gaur and Prof Monica M. Singh presented a utility token from Centre for social work to all the presented workers.
Jasmandeep,Gurmeet,Aman,Vivek,Gurinder,Arunbir,Heera,Arshdeep,Chitwan,Supreet presented the poems on labour day.
Shradha a student of 1st year gave the official vote of thanks to all the present guests, workers, research scholars and students.
