CGC Jhanjeri and Fortis Hospital Mohali presented memento and thanked doctors on National Doctors’ Day
`The role played by Doctors in our society cannot be substituted’
Mohali: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri in collaboration with Fortis Hospital Mohali thanked the medical fraternity for putting up such a brave front during this time of COVID-19 pandemic. The event was held at Fortis Complex wherein CGC Jhanjeri’s management staff thanked the doctors and other medical professionals as they worked tirelessly to save lives in this time as the virus was spreading.
Dr. Amit K. Mandal along with other medical staff from Fortis Hospital were presented memento as they were thanked for their valuable contribution to the humanity. The invisible enemy of microscopic size, COVID-19 engulfed the entire world within the blink of an eye and left us helpless and wanting. It is only these doctors who acted as corona warriors and saved everyone.
India celebrates National Doctors’ Day every year on July 1 to honor the birth and death anniversary of great physician and second chief minister of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. This day serves to show gratitude to all the doctors who have aided us in the time of need and tirelessly worked for the health of their patients. Their importance has increased all the more in this time of COVID-19 pandemic.
