CGC Jhanjeri organised International Yoga Day
`Yoga keeps everybody happy and healthy'
Mohali: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri organized one week online camp for giving yoga training to the staff and students. Yoga expert gave training morning hours every day. Last day staff members and students attended the camp with Covid Protocol. During one week online training, the role of various yoga asanas for keeping fit and for treatment of various ailments was explained. Some of the main asanas practiced during the training included Taad asanas for height increase and flexibility in body, Bhujang asanas for backbone flexibility , backpain relief and shoulder exercise, Padam asanas for improvement of Respiratory system and mind control, Shav asanas for full body relaxation and getting rid of BP problem, Vajra asanas for making digestive system strong. On concluding day participants gave encouraging feedback.
Speaking on the occasion, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that Yoga keeps everybody happy and healthy. He further urged the participants to not to stop practicing various yoga taught during the camp, rather they should form a habit to do yoga for about an hour in the morning every day which will help them to remain fit throughout their life.
