CGC Jhanjeri Signs MoU with Arkansas State University, USA

Mohali 13 Aug Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri with a view to provide its students exposure to the latest developments in the fields of Engineering, Computer Applications, Management, Agriculture, Commerce & Fashion Technology, keeps on widening its interaction with leading foreign Universities and has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Arkansas State University (ASU) – Jonesboro, USA. The MoU has provisions for exchange of Faculty & students for sharing knowledge of each other. Students will go for summer training and semester exchange programme. With this tie up, the students of CGC Jhanjeri will be eligible for special scholarship and discounted fee of ASU. In addition, they will get opportunities to explore placement avenues there. Speaking on the occasion Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that CGC is committed to impart world class education to its students. For this, special arrangements have been made by the college for online teaching through NPTEL, FOSS and SWAYAM etc.Dr. G.D.Bansal, Director General said that by studying in foreign environment, apart from studies, students get to know of the culture, living habits and working style of the students all over the world.
