Brings home the winners’ trophy for the second consecutive year
The Handball team (men and women) from Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran has won the PTU Inter College Handball Tournament winners’ trophy for the second consecutive year in a row. Team CGC was competing against teams from more than ten other participating colleges in this tournament.
Winners of the tournament were also felicitated with gold medals.
Organised in Shahpur the teams comprising 12 players in the Men’s team and 10 players in the Women’s team gave a remarkable performance in all matches they played, winning all the rounds.
The teams from CGC Landran( both Men and Women) defeated those from CTIEMT Shahpur, DAVIET Jalandhar and GNDEC Ludhiana to emerge victorious.
Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman, CGC Landran and Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Landran commended the teams and said that the institution takes immense pride in their achievement.
