CGC Landran in association with Ministry of MSME organizes Entrepreneurship Awareness programme
An Entrepreneurship Awareness program was organized by ACIC RISE association, CGC Landran in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME).
An Entrepreneurship Awareness program was organized by ACIC RISE association, CGC Landran in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME). The event was exclusively designed for aspiring entrepreneurs. It aimed at guiding their entrepreneurial ideas or ventures on aspects relating to obtaining mentorship or financial support specifically through schemes supported by the MSME including the Prime Ministers Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP). The session saw the participation of 200-plus participants. Atal Community Innovation Centre (ACIC) RISE, CGC Landran, supported by AIM, NITI Aayog (Govt. of India), aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship culture in semi-urban and rural India.
The dignitaries gracing the occasion included Virinder Sharma, Director, MSME-DFO Ludhiana, Kundan Lal Singh, Assistant Director, MSME-DFO Ludhiana, Anupma Rani, Assistant Director, MSME-DFO Ludhiana, Amarinder Singh from Department of Industries and Commerce, Jatinder Singh, MD, Endico Power Tools
Addressing the audience Virinder Sharma, enlightened them on the various initiatives they could avail to further their entrepreneurial ventures. He also congratulated Chandigarh Engineering College (CEC-CGC Landran) for its recognition as a Host Institute (HI) under the chairmanship of AS and DC MSME, New Delhi which would authorize the institution to submit new, innovative ideas received from innovators, for getting financial support under the MSME Innovative (Incubation component) and other schemes, supported by the Ministry of MSME.
Sharing their thoughts other dignitaries present at the event further shared detailed information pertaining to all these different schemes the participants could benefit from, and use to operationalize their business or entrepreneurial ventures thereby helping the country become more self-reliant. The organizers also reiterated their commitment to encourage entrepreneurial culture around the region by helping budding innovators to build & scale-up successful businesses.
