CGC Landran’s covid relief service continues to make way to serve needy amid lockdown

Chandigarh: The Covid Relief Service that was initiated by Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran at the beginning of the national lockdown continues to reach out to the daily wagers and laborer families in the vicinity on a daily basis with the objective to provide them with healthy cooked meals. The initiative that kick-started almost 20 days ago as the institution’s social responsibility to help the underprivileged sections of the society reached areas of Sector 88, Sector 94, and Village Bhago Majra in Mohali today. These meals are prepared in the hostel mess and further distributed by the CGC volunteers.

Through this service, CGC Landran strives to extend a helping hand to all the needy people in the neighboring areas throughout the duration of the lockdown and also seeks to ensure that everyone stays home — safe and healthy!
