Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) successfully hosts Buyer-Seller Meet in collaboration with MSME

Ludhiana, January 8, 2025: The Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), organized a grand Buyer-Seller Meet at the CICU Focal Point Complex, Ludhiana. The event drew an overwhelming response, with over 1,000 visitors and 25+ Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier-1 suppliers participating.

The meet served as a dynamic platform for businesses to network, showcase their capabilities, and explore procurement opportunities with major industry players such as JCB, Swaraj Mahindra, Sonalika, Mother Son, SML Isuzu, JBM, ONDC, BHEL, Indian Railways, OEMs, Defence, and International Purchase Orders (IPOs).

The event commenced with a welcome address by Smt. Ishita Thaman, IES, Deputy Director, MSME-DFO, Ludhiana, who highlighted the importance of such platforms in bridging the gap between buyers and sellers.  Upkar Singh Ahuja, President of CICU, expressed gratitude to MSME officials and other PSUs for their invaluable support and participation.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Sanjeev Chawla, IEDS, Additional Development Commissioner, MSME-DFO, Ludhiana & Karnal, who praised the initiative for fostering business growth and innovation. A felicitation ceremony honored the Chief Guest and other dignitaries for their contributions to the MSME ecosystem.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Wazir Singh, IEDS, Assistant Director, MSME-DFO, followed by an engaging networking session where participants exchanged ideas and explored potential collaborations.
