CHANCELLOR MERKEL BODES WELL FOR INDIA- BY HARPREET SANDHU

Author.

It is good for our country as Merkel has already proved having established close relations with India in her previous tenures as Chancellor of Germany. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is really pushing hard to revive & improve the efficiency in the economic growth, environmental performance and is rather encouraging the open and competitive regional and international markets geared towards providing affordable energy at all economic levels It is indeed a positive step initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to have shared the chair with Chancellor Angela Merkel during opening of  Indian pavilion at the  Indo – German Business Summit at Hannover. Infact by organising such trade affairs both sides can note that the trade can grow rapidly between two countries.
Our Prime Minister really projected remarkable upcoming vision of developing India and raising the business ranking of India to touch upon the key areas of promoting the manufacturing sector and assured well to the German companies about the changing environment in India and inviting them to invest in India at this trade fair which could create interest of German companies to initiate trade with India based industrial units of export of mutual interest . Its commendable that, Modi had personal interaction with the prominent business executives during his ongoing visit to Germany which can prove  towards “Germany and India sharing new initiatives in the area of trade, bilateral investment, energy, energy security, the environment, culture, education, training, research, technology and defense can catalyze and activate the great potential of their bilateral ties,” moreover the meetings with the German business and industrial groups seems to be an opportunity for India for joint collaboration in the fields of cross border investments, research and innovation, energy and development.
This ongoing global governance by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi  could ultimately provide dynamic force for the growth of our country and other subjects of common interests of business and agree to felicitate the further strengthening of links between German and India based companies.
Let’s hope Germany and India can further expand their cooperation in dynamic core areas of the Indo-German business ties and open up new business cooperation enabling India to further strengthen its strategic partnership with Germany under the Chancellor Merkel  and P M Modi tenure.
