Chandigarh, May 31, 2022: Two days’ workshop of Chandigarh Congress to implement the Udaipur Nav Sankalp Declaration will start here from tomorrow.

Rajiv Sharma, spokesman of the party informed on Tuesday that Pawan Kumar Bansal, Treasurer All India Congress Committee (AICC) will inaugurate the workshop and while Harish Chaudhary, General Secretary AICC will grace the occasion.
During the workshop the ways and means to implement the Nav Sankalp Declaration in letter and spirit will be deliberated, said Sharma.

The declaration also aims at filling all vacant party posts at block, district, state and national level within next 90 to 180 days, he said.

The three new departments; Public Insight Department for gathering public feedback on different issues and for evaluation of policies, National Training Institute to train party leaders and workers on party ideology and vision and AICC Election Management Department is to ensure preparedness for every election shall be set up, Sharma informed.

Besides this, the implementation of the resolutions included in the declaration based on the recommendation of groups pertaining to political affairs, economic, social justice and empowerment of youth, farmers and khet mazdoors shall also be discussed at the workshop, Sharma added.
