To counter the ever growing menace of parking problem, the Cheema Boilers Limited (CBL) has come up with a unique solution, Smart Parking.

Chandigarh, September 25, 2013: To counter the ever growing menace of parking problem, the Cheema Boilers Limited (CBL) has come up with a unique solution, Smart Parking. The Smart Parking model was launched by H.S. Cheema, MD, CBL at Press Club here today.
Speaking during occasion, Cheema said that as we all know that after 1995 liberalization step by the government, the automobile sector has developed unexpectedly. As a result, we were facing acute problem of space availability for car parking. The available car parking system has some drawbacks. The present fully automated computerized parking systems available in the country though were the best but it was very expensive. It would cost Rs. 2 lacs to 5 lacs per car, as compare to the new car available in Rs.2 lacs only. Thus the present systems were neither feasible nor popular, pointed out Cheema.
He said, these systems were computer operated, needing high power and skilled operating staff besides maintenance and installation cost at very high end. Considering all these shortcomings, CBL has invented and patented a car parking system.
Talking about ‘Smart Parking’ advantages, Cheema said that this parking system has very economical initial cost, almost negligible maintenance and operation cost. In order to save the power consumption and cost, it has been designed to use the inbuilt propulsion arrangement of the car to shift it from one place to another within the parking system.
“The entire operation was done by a normal car driver and thereby eliminating the requirement of highly paid computer operator being used in other such parking systems. This system was suitable for installation in a basement, terrace or other confined or small parking spaces within any building. It could be housed in green area of the apartments also.”
Interestingly the system has designed on the multiple rack storage principle, thus it can house up to four times more cars than a conventional parking place, thereby saving huge amounts of land cost and construction of basement parking. Being a portable system, it can be shifted from one place to another place without any loss of material and without much effort.
This system is supplied in a ready to install condition and is operational within 2-3 days time at any site. The system can also be operated by using diesel engine without usage of electric power  at site locations, mela or trade fairs etc. Wherein the electrical power is not available or is in short supply. It has valet parking option as operator is already available to park and deliver the car. The owner can leave the car at a single point for loading and delivery.
This parking system is also very ideal for Railway stations, Airports, multiplexes, malls, apartments, schools, institutions, corporate offices, hospitals, factories, trade fair, public interest places like zoo, gardens, lakes, paid parking areas and other such locations with parking congestion and electrical supply problems.
With this invention we hoped to resolve the car parking problems of nation in general and of this region in particular in the most economically and in a faster way, maintained Cheema.
Interestingly earlier the CBL has invented distillery waste disposal incineration boiler which has been accepted by the industry and this invention has solved the biggest problem of disposal of distillery waste water and have produced power from waste. The company has also developed software to protect the human being in case of chemical or nuclear leak which has been accepted by Indian Army (FNBCP).
