The three-day, 21st International Business Conference, INBUSH Era World Summit-2021 culminated at Amity University, organized by Amity International Business School (AIBS) and Amity University Greater Noida. The theme for this year’s summit was "Embracing & Leading Change: Challenges & Strategies to Reinvent & Innovate Growth" where thoughts were exchanged on effective technology management for betterment of the world’s future.   
  
Dr. Aseem Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University, Haryana averred that everyone at Amity is working towards bringing a global change & create a seamlessly integrated brand of education. He stated how INBUSH Era 2021 was another step in this direction and that the collaboration between India & US will create an international framework for other countries also to participate in. He shared that new paradigms are being imagined now with universities collaborating online and research alliances being created.   
 
Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh, Group Vice Chancellor, Amity Universities talked about how change can be brought and embraced in the covid times by taking inspiration from Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr. He added that Amity is striding forward to bring about a global change and revolutionize the world of education & also integrate theorems of happiness in its education offering.    
 
A collaborative association between SBC HEC Montreal Canada & Amity Universities and Institutions was announced in Social Business Creation Programme – A Global Competition & Training in Social Entrepreneurship.  Dr. Mai Thi, Director, Social Business Creation shared her happiness in the creation of this association which will have research collaborations with Amity to develop Social Business Creation in the Indian context. 
    
During the conference, Lifetime Achievement Award was conferred upon Dr. Mukesh Aghi, President & Chief Executive Officer of the US- India Strategic Partnership Forum. In his keynote address Dr. Aghi shared that if an individual cannot adopt and adapt personally, they will have difficulty in leading and changing an organization. He shared how people resist change as they are creatures of habit and a departure from the past makes them uncomfortable. He stressed that life is about embracing change and taking on setbacks. He added that people accepted lockdowns, virtual connections during Covid 19 and how change can be an engine of progress. He called for change of mindset, accepting disruptions to succeed and for accepting the past to fight for the future.   
 
A doctor for Engineering Program was announced between Amity & John Hopkins University, USA. Dr. Sridevi V. Sarma, Chair Doctor of Engineering Program, Vice Dean Graduate Education and Associate Director, Institute for Computational Medicine, Johns Hopkins University, USA expressed her delight on the announcement of the program and added that India has immense talent that needs to be tapped.    
 
Amity Corporate Excellence Award in the category of Business Leadership was given to Mr. Devendra Chawla, MD & CEO, Spencer’s Retail & Nature Basket; Mr. Arvind Goel, CEO Tata Auto Components; Dr. Sumit Mitra, CEO, Tesco Business Services and Tesco Bengaluru; Mr. Sumed Marwaha, MD & Regional VP, Unisys India & Mr. Sunil Goyal, Dy. CEO Sopra Steria India and CEO, Sopra Banking Software India. Amity Media Excellence Award was conferred upon Mr. Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, India TV.   
 
Also, the Amity Global Excellence Award for fostering UK & India Academic Cooperation was bestowed upon Prof. Paul Inman, Pro Vice Chancellor International, University of Reading, UK. The valedictory ceremony was well-attended by thousands of students, staff and faculty members from across the globe.
