Charity gives me satisfaction: Mika Singh
Mika the Bollywood hit machine donates food, study material
If singing is the best thing about Mika Singh, the richest singer of Bollywood, charity is the second best thing about this versatile artist. Mika’s annual calendar is packed with live shows, which he loves the most. On an average he does over 12 shows every month. That’s indeed a lot of shows! He is also the only most popular singer to have been ruling the industry with huge success for the last 22 years.
According to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Katra in Jammu, Mika Singh organizes the langar seva at Vaishno Devi temple premises every Sunday, under the aegis of his charitable organization - Divine Touch. The singer also has been providing food and study materials to the needy children in rural schools. His NGO, Divine Touch distributed food and necessary survival items at a large scale across India during the Covid pandemic and lockdowns. Mika is known for giving hits after hits in Bollywood, his latest songs ‘Halo re Halo’ and ‘Durga Maa Elo Re’ have been gaining popularity on social media.
Mika visited the famous Vaishno Devi temple in Katra recently. The singer posted a video on his Instagram account and wrote, “I had been yearning to visit Vaishno Devi for the last two years and whilst thinking, Mata ka bulawa khud hi aa gaya. I feel so blessed having been given a chance to sing some Mata ki Bhent. I have performed in many jagrans as a guitarist but it was my first ever experience singing at Vaishno Darbar. Thank you Mata Devi for giving me this cherished opportunity to sing in the Darbar.”
