Giving information, Ophthalmic Officer Rajinder Singh said that they have checked and provided free medicines to 27 patients today.
Phagwara, October 10, 2014: To mark World sight day, a free eye check up was today organised at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Bara Pind, under guidance of Senior Medical Officer Dr Balwinder Singh Kahlon. Giving information, Ophthalmic Officer Rajinder Singh said that they have checked and provided free medicines to 27 patients today. He said that in India we have largest population of blinds and this day was celebrated to make people aware regarding preventable causes of eye related problems.
Block Extension Educator Preetinder Singh said that maximum people should donate eyes to make someone see through their eyes.
