Mumbai, June 22, 2015: Godrej announced the launch of a food blog. The blog is a buffet of chef perspectives, recipes, blogger experiences, kitchen designs, gadgets and other gastronomic delights. It aims to create an ecosystem where chefs, bloggers, influencers, food lovers and others can engage, exchange new ideas, gain tips, insights and make new connections with each other.
The blog has five categories: Chef’s Cauldron, Recipes, Blogosphere, Kitchen Therapy and In The News which features food mantras, recipes and passion of some of India’s most distinguished chefs, such as the man who brought television into India’s kitchens, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, the multi-talented Chef Vicky Ratnani, the energetic Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, the debonair Chef Ranveer Brar, food stylist Chef Michael Swamy, and one of the India’s premier celebrity gastronomes and bloggers Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal.
Speaking at the launch Tanya Dubash, Chief Brand Officer, Godrej group said, “ We have a wide range of businesses in the food category. Our aim is to bring the food enthusiasts and some of the country’s top chefs together to engage and cross-pollinate ideas around the space. Vikhroli Cucina will attempt to bring together these various constituents and make it the most sought after platform in the foods industry.”
Vikhroli Cucina is a result of the Godrej vision to bring all its brands operating in the food category together and a successful pilot of a first-of-its-kind collaborative foodie event earlier in the year. At the event all Godrej brands in the food space: Godrej Tyson, Godrej Nature’s Basket, Godrej Appliances, Godrej Interio and Cartini along with the Food Bloggers Association of India (FBAI), Weber Grills and Grover Zampa engaged with over 50 influencers.
