In its quest to promote the rich and the awe-inspiring cultural heritage of the tribal state Chhattisgarh Tourism board  supported the cause of Kosa silk by becoming the presenting partner of the Bilasa show at the recently concluded  Delhi Times Fashion Week held at the Grand Hotel in capital. The Bilasa handloom show presented by the Chhattisgarh Tourism was an ode to the artisans and weavers of Chhattisgarh. The collection is an amalgamation of Kosa silk saris, jackets, men’s kurtas paired with dhotis and Nehru jackets while the color palette is in earthen tones. The sleek and contemporary jewelery of Tirbari by Symetree makes for a statement addition to the designs of Bilasa. The jewelery includes silver-jewelled necklaces, eclectic earrings, chokers, cuffs and bangles. The show was beautifully choreographed by Kapil Gauhri while the exceptional styling was by Vikram Seth.
