Ludhiana, November 20, 2018: Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh would be visiting the Ludhiana city tomorrow, i.e November 21, 2018. During his visit, the Chief Minister would be inaugurating the new building of District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises near Patrap Chowk, will attend a district-level function related to Mahatma Gandhi Sarbat Vikas Yojana in Government College for Girls and a state-level function marking the 100 years of World War 1 at Maharaja Ranjit Singh War Museum, here.

While providing information, Deputy Commissioner Mr Pardeep Kumar Agrawal informed that the Punjab government is committed for polishing the skills of our youth and ensuring proper jobs for them. He said that is why, the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises has been developed in a building near Partap Chowk, here, and the Chief Minister would inaugurate this building at 10:30 am tomorrow. On this occasion, the Chief Minister would also launch a special web portal developed by Punjab Skill Development Mission.

After attending this function, the Chief Minister would attend a district-level camp on Mahatma Gandhi Sarbat Vikas Yojana at Government College for Girls. Here, the Chief Minister would distribute certificates to the eligible beneficiaries and details related to this scheme would also be shared with public. This function would also be addressed by Health Minister Mr Brahm Mahindra and MP Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu, besides others.

Mr Agrawal further informed that a state-level function to mark the 100 years of World War 1 would be organised at Maharaja Ranjit Singh War Museum near Jalandhar Byepass, here. Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh would be the Chief Guest of this function and would also pay tributes to the martyrs of World War 1 and the ex-servicemen of World War or their family members would also be honoured on the occasion.

Accompanied by Senior District Administration Officials, the Deputy Commissioner visited all these sites and issues necessary directions to the staff. He said that all arrangements regarding these functions have been completed.

He was also accompanied by ADC (Development) Dr Shena Aggarwal, ADC (Jagraon) Mrs Neeru Katyal Gupta, ADC (General) Mr Iqbal Singh Sandhu, SDM Ludhiana (East) Mr Amarjit Singh Bains, SDM Ludhiana (West) Mr Damanjit Singh Mann, besides several others.
