Chief Minister Goa launches Pictorial Art Work “Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” of Punjab based Nature Artist in Goa
Pictorial art work depicting National Bird of India symbolizing “Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” was today launched by Chief Minister Goa Pramod Sawant , compiled by Punjab based eminent Nature Artist & Lawyer Harpreet Sandhu. The significant art work showcases Peacock forming bustle of satin with its feathers, embodying the rich cultural heritage and biodiversity of India.

Pictorial art work depicting National Bird of India symbolizing “Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” was today launched by Chief Minister Goa Pramod Sawant , compiled by Punjab based eminent Nature Artist & Lawyer Harpreet Sandhu. The significant art work showcases Peacock forming bustle of satin with its feathers, embodying the rich cultural heritage and biodiversity of India.
CM Goa Parmod Sawant acknowledged the rare pictorial art work “Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” and described the portrait as an exceptional art work aimed towards glorifying the beauty of Peacock and emphasizing the need for human’s indispensable bond with nature will go long way to share vibrant culture and enrich the states of Goa and Punjab as peacock is considered a symbol of grace, beauty, and elegance it can be often seen in Indian art, mythology, and folklore, representing virtues like integrity and dignity.
Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu thanked Chief Minister Goa for launching the pictorial art work symbolizing “Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” and stated that he has compiled this Portrait to raise awareness to protect the natural habitats of peacock, so that the future generations continue to witness the majestic beauty of our National Bird as it adds to the natural beauty of the country, making peacock not just a bird, but a national icon that represents India's splendor and cultural ethos. Punjab based eminent author & nature artist Harpreet Sandhu also presented his authored Coffee Table Book titled “ Saada Sohna Punjab “ - portraying the natural locations of Punjab for Goa and traditional stole depicting Mother Language Punjabi Words to Chief Minister Goa as cultural & heritage symbol of Punjab State Language to Goa Language & Culture
