Chief Secretary and DGP visited Dharamshala for G20 meeting and checked arrangements
State Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena and Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu visited Dharamshala on Monday regarding the G20 meeting to be held in Dharamshala on 19-20 April and examined the preparations for the G20 meeting and reviewed the arrangements.
Dharamsala, April 17, 2023: State Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena and Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu visited Dharamshala on Monday regarding the G20 meeting to be held in Dharamshala on 19-20 April and examined the preparations for the G20 meeting and reviewed the arrangements. The Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police inspected all the places related to the meeting, including Gaggal Airport, Radisson Blu Hotel, HPCA Stadium.
Kundu said that it is a matter of pride for the region that the G20 meeting is being organized here. He said that in the G20 meeting, along with foreign guests, about 70 guests from different parts of the country will arrive in Dharamshala. He said that the success of this meeting is a big responsibility for the country as well as the region.
Chief secretary said that the Chief Minister of the state, Sukhwinder Singh, will personally address the guests on April 19.
He examined every aspect related to the hospitality of the guests coming during the 20th meeting and gave instructions to the local administration to make the arrangements to a higher level.
Deputy Commissioner Kangra Dr Nipun Jindal, DIG Santosh Patial, SP kangra Ms Shalini Agnihotri and additional deputy commissioner Saurabh Jassel were present were also accompanied them.
