Chiiz Announces Winners Of “Kila Raipur Rural Olympic” Photography Contest

New Delhi: Chiiz.com is immensely pleased to announce winners of Kila Raipur Rural Olympic Photography Contest which was organised in the month of February. The purpose of the contest was to cover the 82nd Kila Raipur Rural Sports Festival. The contest was judged by Mr. RakeshSyal. He is one of the most renowned photographers from Ludhiana. The contest was judged on the basis of the Story, Composition and technicality. There were several exciting prizes for the winners as well. We received several photos which were all unique and beautiful among which 106 were shortlisted. Out of all the 106 entries, 3 photos caught the attention of our judge. Mr. Arshdeep Singh got the first place. His picture depicts the meticulous moment when the horse’s all four legs are in the air and the spear which is held by the rider is about to hit the target. Composition and placement of the subject is very delightful. The photographer was all set to capture this unusually pleasant moment. Mr. Dapinder Singh grabbed the second place. His photograph shows the Nihang who is a very prestigious armed Sikh order. The early Sikh military history is dominated by the Akali Sikh military order as many famous military victories are won by them, even while heavily outnumbered. In the picture, the Nihang is proudly standing and posing with his winning horse. Mr. Sukhwinder Singh grabbed the third place. His picture illustrates a race dog resting on his owner’s lap after a race and is being embraced by its owner very fondly. A sentimental and emotional bond is captured by the photographer. “We are very happy as we have received a huge amount of quality pictures which made the judging process a very difficult.
