Children’s Day celebrated with great happiness and vigor at Ivy World School


Students participate in Children’s Day celebrations at Ivy World School, Jalandhar on Friday.

Jalandhar: Children's day in India is celebrated on Pandit Nehru's birthday as a day of fun and frolic, a celebration of childhood, children and Nehruji's love for them.

Under the immense motivation of our Principal S Chauhan Children’s day was celebrated at Ivy World School with great happiness and vigor. The day started with a special assembly which was conducted by the educators. Principal S Chauhan also addressed the students and wished them on this wonderful day. This was followed by a wonderful live performance by music department.

After the assembly the students gathered in the play ground and had fun playing lot of interesting games as tug of war, cricket etc. The celebrations ended with distribution of chocolates to the children. It was a day full of fun and activities.

But the children day celebrations do not end here. All the children are very excited and are looking forward to the upcoming Farm Carnival.

Backstroke (50 meters): First position holders: Harkiran, Riya, Nitya, Varin, Vatsal, Chandan, Second position holders: Pakhi, Arunima, Tanvi, Aditya, Upman, Japjaap, Third position holders: Herron, Nishka, Yashasvi, Nitinpreet, Rakhajot, Mannan.
