Children’s Day Celebration in Cambridge:-A Tribute to Pandit Nehru

Jalandhar, November 15, 2014: On the occasion of Birth Anniversary of first Prime Minister Pt Jawaharlal Nehru, ‘Children’s Day’ celebrations were held in Cambridge International School For Girls, Jalandhar & Cambridge International school (Chotti Baradari) & Cambridge International Foundation School. It was a jubilant time for the students. They had a lot of fun and frolic. The show began with the special assembly conducted by the teachers. After the prayer an inspirational thought was delivered which was followed by some funny facts related to the face book. Children enjoyed the poem, a skit and a marvelous dance presented by the teachers. The whole scenario seemed to reflect the childhood activities only. Everyone seemed to be recalling his/her own golden memories. The day commenced with a DJ party especially arranged for the kids.

Principal, Deepa Dogra delivered a speech highlighting the dreams of the late Prime Minister – Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru enlightening them about his life and ideals.

Chairman Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Deepak Bhatia, Director Learning Wings J.K.Kohli, Nitin Kohli, Academic Director Deepa Dogra and Principal Kiranjot Dhillon & Vice-Principal, Preeti Sharma and Principal Meenu Huria congratulated the whole Cambridge family and guided them towards truth and honesty in order to be better citizens.

The school gave a look of fairyland with students moving around in colourful dresses.
