Children’s Day quotes from Sony SAB artists
Dev Joshi (Baalveer in Sony SAB’s Baalveer Returns) I feel really excited for Children's Day as it falls in my birthday month and hence, I receive gifts twice in November. My parents always surprise me on Children's Day with some or the other gift, usually something I need. I actually have really fond memories of Children's Day from the time I was in school. We used to have a function where students gave speeches and I used to deliver a speech as a famous personality, every year during Children's Day. On one of the Children's Days during my childhood, me and my parents went to the house of one the workers in my father's factory and I shared my toys and clothes with the kids in their family. We also went out for lunch together and it felt great to see someone feel happy because of us. Although we are grown-ups now, but the child within is always alive and should always be. I wish everyone a very happy Children's Day and my message to everyone is that keep that child within you always alive. Akshita Mudgal (Gayatri in Sony SAB’s Bhakharwadi) Children’s Day is a day when parents give their kids a little extra freedom to let them do as much mischief as they want, pamper their requests and do things to make them feel special. Even now when we are grown up, all of us do have a little child still hidden inside us. So, to celebrate that child inside everyone, I usually go to an orphanage on Children’s Day to make them feel special and cared and my parents join me for that too. Apart from this, my parents always make it a point to get me something special on Children’s Day. I still remember the first gift my parents brought for me on Children’s Day and it was a huge teddy bear which I have with me till date, irrespective of its condition. That was really special for me as it was a feeling of how much my parents love me. Parents are people who always pass on positivity to their kids and they are the ones who help the child and that innocence alive in their kids. I am very glad to have my parents always standing by my side, supporting me in everything I do. Vansh Sayani (Vivaan in Sony SAB’s Baalveer Returns) Children’s Day is really special for me as on this day, every year, my parents wish me first and give me a surprise gift. It is one of the days of the year that makes me excited as my parents make it a point to take me out and we spend a fun day together. It is a tradition they have followed since I can remember. Although we have a holiday in school on Children’s Day, but a day prior to that we celebrate this day in school where we are given different books to read, which I am really fond of. My parents have always supported me in my career and they are the ones who have helped me enjoy my childhood to the fullest and keep it alive always. One of my fondest memories from when I was younger is my first day of shoot, when I saw the cameras and a complete set for the first time and later saw myself perform on screen. This is something I’ve enjoyed doing ever since. This Children’s Day I want to work harder and enjoy the day with my co-stars and parents. Atharv Sharma (Rohan in Sony SAB’s Tera Kya Hoga Alia) Every Children’s Day for me is a feast as my parents do everything that I love on this day from making the food that I love to getting me a present. They make the day even better as the entire day is only reserved for enjoyment and no studies at all. In schools too, we have a really fun event that I participate in and our Principal makes it a point to tell us about Chacha Nehru. It is a full-on masti day for all the students. This Children’s Day, as I will be shooting, I look forward to doing a lot of fun with everyone on the sets of Sony SAB’s Tera Kya Hoga Alia.
