Jalandhar, December 23, 2014: Here comes December and it’s time to bid adieu to the current year and gear up to usher in the New Year. On 23rd December, the Cambridge International School, Chhoti Baradari campus was abuzz with the Christmas celebrations. A special assembly was organized which was coordinated and conducted by the bright sparks of the Cambridge International School. Christmas carols and ringing of Santa Claus’s bells wafted through the environs. A carol singing competition and the fervor of Christmas uplifted the spirits of one and all.
To celebrate Christmas in a more meaningful way, the school organized a unique Christmas carol singing competition among all the four houses - Cedar, Oak, Maple and Pine. Christmas carols were related to the Nativity were sung. And Pine house won the first position and Cedar house grabbed the second. After that Santa Claus blessed the children and distributed the sweets.
Chairman Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Deepak Bhatia, Director Learning Wings J.K. Kohli, Nitin Kohli and Academic Director Deepa Dogra and Principal Kiranjot Dhillon showered their blessings and urged the students to emulate Jesus Christ’s spirit of forgiveness, mercy and generosity. The celebration came to an end with the singing of National Anthem.
